Rebecca—Becky to her family—grew up in a waterfront community, the daughter of a fisherman and self-taught chef. She began writing stories at eight years old and had turned to novels by her late teens. For years, though, writing remained a passion she left on the back burner while she raised her daughter and built a more financially secure future.

She worked her way through school, earning a degree in Business Administration with a focus on accounting and data analytics. After nearly a decade as a financial auditor, Rebecca found her way back to storytelling. Today, she helps run the business she co-founded with her husband, homeschools their daughter, and writes romances full of desire, difficult choices, and characters who refuse to fit neatly into anyone else’s plans.

Rebecca lives in Poquoson, Virginia with her husband, daughter, chickens, dogs, and cats. When she isn’t writing The Barone & Nash series, she’s likely cooking for family and friends or spending time outdoors.
